Selon les principes de Klapp er de DeVries, les espèces des pâturages ont étéréparties en six catégories selon leur valeur pour l'alimentationdu bétail (surtout des bovins). Ces valeurs, combinées avec lerecouvrement des espèces, permettent le calcul d'une valeur pastorale enliaison avec les potentialités du pâturage. Cette valeur varieselon les conditions stationnelles et les modalités de la gestion dupâturage. On montre comment l'importance des diverses catégoriesvarie avec la valeur d'ensemble et on établit un modèledescriptif global.

Dynamics of the plant species in the pastures of the medio-europeanmountains

Accordingto principles of Klapp and De Vries, the species of the pastures were dividedinto six categories according to their value for the animal feed (especially ofthe bovines).. These values,combined with the covering of the species, allow the calculation of a pastoralevalue in connection with the potentialities of the pastures. This value varies according to thelocal conditions and to methods of management of the pasture.  It is shown how the importance of the variouscategories varies with the overall value and a total descriptive model isestablished.
